Terms and Conditions

These terms explain the rules and responsibilities for using FoodExpress services.

Last updated: July 1, 2026

Agreement to these terms

These Terms and Conditions apply when you use FoodExpress, including the website, dashboard, Discord bot, support tools, staff tools, order systems, notification features, and related FoodExpress services.

By using FoodExpress, signing in with Discord, joining staff workflows, submitting content, or interacting with the bot, you agree to follow these terms and any FoodExpress rules or guidelines shown in the dashboard or Discord server.

What FoodExpress is

FoodExpress is a virtual fast food delivery community and Discord bot. Orders, items, ranks, points, perks, schedules, staff activity, reports, applications, appeals, and similar features are part of a community service and do not create employment, ownership, or real-world delivery obligations.

Features may change, move, become unavailable, or be removed as FoodExpress evolves.

Eligibility and Discord accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use FoodExpress. You must also follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when using Discord-connected features.

FoodExpress uses Discord OAuth for login. You are responsible for keeping your Discord account secure and for activity performed through your FoodExpress account or linked Discord identity.

Account security

Keep your account, sessions, devices, and linked services safe. Do not share session tokens, authentication cookies, security codes, 2FA codes, staff-only links, or private dashboard access.

If you believe your account or session has been compromised, contact FoodExpress support as soon as possible.

User conduct

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, dox, impersonate, exploit, discriminate against, or target another person or group.
  • Share another person's personal information, private messages, staff-only information, account data, or confidential FoodExpress material without permission.
  • Use FoodExpress for illegal, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, spam, or malicious activity.
  • Abuse orders, staff tools, reports, polls, appeals, applications, support systems, notifications, promocodes, store items, or virtual balances.
  • Attempt to bypass permissions, restrictions, bans, rate limits, 2FA checks, moderation actions, or dashboard access controls.
  • Interfere with FoodExpress systems, APIs, databases, bot operations, Discord integrations, or connected third-party services.
  • Upload, submit, or link content that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing, malicious, or designed to disrupt the service.

Staff and volunteer roles

FoodExpress staff roles are voluntary community roles unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Staff roles do not create employment, wages, contractor status, benefits, or a guarantee of continued access.

Staff members must follow staff rules, protect internal information, use dashboard tools only for legitimate FoodExpress purposes, and avoid conflicts of interest or abuse of access.

Orders, rewards, and store features

FoodExpress orders and delivery workflows are virtual community features. FoodExpress may use points, money balances, perks, rewards, promocodes, store items, profile badges, or similar in-service benefits.

Unless FoodExpress clearly says otherwise in writing, these benefits have no cash value, are not transferable outside FoodExpress, and may be adjusted, reversed, removed, or limited to fix abuse, mistakes, fraud, technical issues, or balance problems.

Content you submit

You are responsible for content you submit to FoodExpress, including orders, chats, reports, applications, appeals, staff notes, suggestions, bug reports, survey answers, profile details, uploaded evidence, and support messages.

You give FoodExpress permission to store, display, process, moderate, transform, summarize, and share that content within FoodExpress systems as needed to operate the service, provide support, enforce rules, create reports, and maintain safety.

AI-assisted features

FoodExpress includes AI-assisted tools, including Benny chat, summaries, insights, suggestions, translations, article recommendations, and reports. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your situation.

Do not rely on AI output as the only basis for important decisions. Staff and administrators remain responsible for reviewing AI-assisted output before acting on it.

Bug reports and security testing

We appreciate good-faith bug reports, but you must not exploit bugs, access data you are not allowed to access, disrupt service, test security boundaries without permission, or publicly disclose vulnerabilities before FoodExpress has reviewed them.

Security testing, penetration testing, automated scanning, scraping, denial-of-service testing, or attempts to bypass access controls require explicit written permission from FoodExpress or Daqinix Group before they begin.

Third-party services

FoodExpress connects with services such as Discord, the FoodExpress API and bot services, MongoDB, Google Analytics, Google Fonts, FECare live chat, OneSignal, browser Web Push providers, OpenRouter, Top.gg, and YouTube.

Your use of third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and policies. FoodExpress is not responsible for third-party websites, outages, policy changes, or content outside our control.

Moderation and account action

We may warn, restrict, suspend, ban, remove staff roles, reverse actions, delete content, disable accounts, revoke access, or report serious abuse when we believe it is necessary to protect FoodExpress, users, staff, third-party services, or legal compliance.

We may also preserve records where needed for safety, audit logs, abuse prevention, investigations, dispute handling, or legal obligations.

Intellectual Property

FoodExpress names, branding, logos, images, code modifications, dashboard design, written materials, and other assets are protected by intellectual property laws. Do not copy, resell, redistribute, or reuse FoodExpress materials without permission.

If you submit feedback, ideas, suggestions, or bug reports, FoodExpress may use them without owing compensation, while you still keep any rights you already had in your own submitted content.

Copyright complaints

If you believe content on FoodExpress infringes your copyright, contact us with enough information to identify the work, the allegedly infringing content, your ownership or authority, and how we can reach you.

We may remove or restrict content that appears to infringe rights or violate these terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, which services we use, and how to request account data or deletion where available. Read the Privacy Policy.

Service availability and disclaimers

FoodExpress is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free features, permanent storage, exact accuracy of reports or analytics, or continued availability of any dashboard, bot, AI, notification, store, staff, or order feature.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, FoodExpress is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by unavailable services, third-party outages, user content, unauthorized account use, or misuse of FoodExpress.

Virtual Diner source code

FoodExpress is based on Virtual Diner's source code with permission. FoodExpress branding, assets, and modifications belong to FoodExpress or Daqinix Group where applicable. Base source code and CSS remain subject to the Virtual Diner permission or license arrangement.

Virtual Diner's owner and leadership team do not control FoodExpress accounts, databases, internal systems, or private dashboard data unless separately authorized by FoodExpress.

Questions and disputes

If something goes wrong, contact FoodExpress support first so we can try to resolve it directly. You can open a support ticket in our Discord server or email [email protected].

Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. By using FoodExpress, you agree that any dispute, claim, or legal matter relating to these Terms or your use of FoodExpress will be governed by those laws, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Inactive accounts

We may remove, archive, or reclaim inactive accounts, usernames, or associated data where reasonably necessary to maintain FoodExpress, provided this does not conflict with applicable law or our Privacy Policy.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Investigations

FoodExpress may temporarily restrict access to accounts, features, or staff permissions while investigating suspected breaches of these Terms, security concerns, or reports of misconduct.

No endorsement

Unless expressly stated otherwise, references to third-party services, trademarks, or products do not imply any endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with FoodExpress.

Events outside our control

FoodExpress is not responsible for delays, interruptions, reduced functionality, or temporary unavailability of our services caused by events outside our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, internet or network outages, hosting or cloud provider failures, third-party service disruptions, software or hardware failures, cyberattacks, natural disasters, government actions, power outages, or other unforeseen events.

We will make reasonable efforts to restore affected services as quickly as practical, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability during such events.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as FoodExpress changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The "Last updated" date shows when this page was most recently revised.
